Well.. "perhaps" there is something more. I use a persistent home.
Then, i have a directory /home/knoppix/OpenOffice.org1.1.0 containing my 
user configuration.
With or without that directory (renaming it), neither starting 
openoffice from icon or shell, it starts in German.
Curiously, installing new openoffice1.1.0 from openoffice web site on 
directory /opt2, it runs completly in English.

I don't know if this is problem from /usr/bin/soffice script?!. Anyway, 
here is my lang:
knoppix@ttyp0[knoppix]$ echo $LANG
es_ES@euro
