here is my statement:

first of all Christian Perle is a very nice person.

second: 

How would you feel if you had installed say 20 systems with reiserfs and never 
needed any reboot ?

And there is someone who says that this would not be possible. 
(and you have lots of work to do and try to help users and you do not 
understand what happened)

third: I for my part accept that you do not want to receive spam, but I also 
see that in netiquette its custom to have an Realname!

fourth:

as root do:

mv /home /home.old
mkdir /home
mount /dev/hdaX /home # where X is partition-number
cp -a /home.old/* /home/
echo "/dev/hdaX /home auto defaults 0 1" >> /etc/fstab # add to fstab to be 
mounted automatically

Later if everything works, you can delete /home.old
