[debian-knoppix] /dev/cdrom is not a valid block device
Hi,
I have installed knoppix 3.3, the kernel installed is 2.4.22 patched with xfs,
The sources are not installed with knoppix, I have installed the kernel 2.4.22 without patch,
and everything is working except the cdrom,
when I try to mount the cdrom i have got this message:
/dev/cdrom is not a valid block device
I can mount without any problem with kernel 2.4.22-xfs so I believe that I have forgotten to build one thing or to add one module,
I have added ISO 9660 CDROM file system support and Microsoft Joliet CDROM extension
so I have probably forgotten something
Anybody has an idea?
