Hi, I am trying to do a apt-get upgrade (after a update) and everything works out exept kicker and kdesktop which both collides with one file from kdebase-data. I am using the CVS versions i.e. kicker_4%3a3.2.0-0+cvs20030821+orth_i386.deb.

- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The output is:

(Reading database ... 106621 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace kdesktop 4:3.2.0-0+cvs20030625+orth (using .../kdesktop_4%3a3.2.0-0+cvs20030821+orth_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement kdesktop ...

Anybody any idea?

Thanks

It seems not to be a KNOPPIX problem ...

I got the same error message several times when I tried to install Ximian GNOME without to remove the original Debian packages.

You should also upgrade kdebase-data to the CVS version (I suppose you haven't).

Sören
