[debian-knoppix] idLinux - Industrial Linux initiative

idLinux is about to be started in Indonesia, either as an open
computing company or a non-profit organization. Bottomline,
idLinux is a community effort to convert software piracy habits
into open computing.

What we'll do are as follows:

  * Provide low cost services to migrate pirated Microsoft
    Windows systems into legit GNU/Linux systems.

  * Provide low cost GNU/Linux trainings ranged from novice to
    expert levels.

  * Provide low cost LTSP-based computer rental, internet cafe,
    and corporate systems. This will allow either Linux style
    (free) or Windows style (application server licenses)
    end-user experience.

  * Provide affordable real-estate LAN/WAN interconnection systems.
    Low cost prepaid dedicated Internet access is feeded into this
    home networks through either ISDN, broadband wireless, or VSAT.

  * Developing new distros that eliminate the current Linux
    weaknesses in user friendly setup and lack of device drivers.

  * Developing low-cost intranet/internet integrated business
    software systems like F&A, SCM, MCP, ERP, HRD, and the like.

  * Developing low-cost industrial integrated systems and machinery
    device drivers.

  * Developing low cost Linux clustering systems for applications
    that require heavy computing power like 3D modelling and
    CAD/CAM/CAE applications.

  * Developing low-cost advanced applications like biometric systems,
    optical surveilance systems, industrial machinery sensor systems,
    and RFID systems.

  * Host public events and happenings to raise Linux popularity and
    general public knowledge.

  * Deploy ground marketing and dream marketing campaigns to raise
    Linux popularity and general public knowledge.

  * Buying and distributing Linux-related merchandising items like
    posters, stickers, toys, bags, clothing, and apparels to raise
    Linux public awareness.

Any thoughts and suggestions on this?
