Re: [debian-knoppix] how can i add a new driver?

Hi,

I think the easierst way could be:
Build your own boot-disk. When the kernel on the boot disk contains the
new driver, then you have won.

And of course: You could remaster a new cd with simply changing the
boot.img! (So you must not remaster the /knoppix/knoppix!)

All these things are described at http://www.knoppix.net:

Boot-Disk with "custom kernel":
http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/KnoppixCustomKernelHowto

Remastering Knoppix:
http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/KnoppixRemasteringHowto

If you have any further questions: feel free to ask again.

With kind regards,

Konrad
