[debian-knoppix] Request: latest released 3.1 ISO
Hi,
I have not checked them all, but the mirrors do not seem to have kept
a copy of Knoppix 3.1. I feel that the fast-moving nature of 3.2 might
intimidate newbies, whereas a solid and time-proven earlier release,
clearly marked as such on the mirrors, might win a few converts.
Of course a bleeding edge 3.2 is very exciting but I still believe a solid
demo system with both KDE and Gnome has its place.
So I'd like to suggest restoring V3.1-2003-01-20 on the mirrors, possibly
labelled as 3.1-RELEASE or somesuch.
Anyway, thanks *so much* to Klaus for a fantastic tool!
