Let me ask more clearly. I would appreciate it if one or more people
can try the following and report the results.
- Boot Knoppix (preferably using 'knoppix 2' for text-only.)
- At a command prompt, type 'grub'.
- Watch the screen. Notice if any modprobe errors appear.
- Report the results to this list.
