[debian-knoppix] modprobe: modprobe: can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/ .....
I'm trying to take out some unecessaries in knoppix
and burn my own.
Here's what I uninstalled:
koffice
abiword
gnomemeeting
kpilot
kugar
kgeo
kstars
falconseye
nethack
chromium
gnocatan
asc
lincity
freeciv
everybuddy-cvs
KDE-i18n-* (ALL OF THEM)
I re-created the ISO filesystem and burned it onto a
CD, when I rebooted I got this error message several
times:
"modprobe: modprobe: can't open dependencies file
/lib/modules/2.4.19-xfs/modules.dep"
and I couldn't use my network card!
what can I do to fix it?
