My hope is that I can use it to build a fake gadged device,
which I need for application development.

Of course I tried to build my kernel but it was not booting
my Debian any more, then I run out of steam and moved onto
a physical device.

Still I'd like to make the trick, if possible.

Maybe I've got it wrong.
