I'll file it upstream.  I'm never quite sure whether the maintainer is
supposed to do that or the bug submitter - it seems to vary by package.

If the switch's port had a trunked mode that would be a good idea.  The
5 port switches we put in these "occasionally manned" offices don't
have them.
