Dear Maintainers,

my system crashes time by time, but it was not possible to reproduce the
crashes or to find any obvious reason.

I tried different things before, but the behaviour did not change:
- I tested the memory with memtest86+, but no errors were found.
Still, I do suspect this is a hardware fault - the memory, CPU or
chipset. memtest86+ doesn't always find such faults, unfortunately.

maybe you are right, I'll test some more things (but not today):
- change the graphics-card to another nvidia-based one
- reduce memory to 2Gb (I added 2Gb some month ago to have 4Gb)
- perhaps CPU (must get an board-compatible one...)
- I removed all additional cards, except video (Soundblaster
Live!/emu10k1, Adaptec 29160)
- moved from proprietary nvidia-drivers to nouveau
[...]

Different kernel versions?
emu10k1: no (thrown out yesterday or the day before)
adaptec: I'm not sure, but I think no (kernel came into testing on 22 of june).

I'm thinking about, when those crashes stated to begin, I'll have a look into my logs later.

Christoph
