Please attach output from:

* lsinitramfs /boot/initrd.img-3.2.0-1-amd64
* lsinitramfs /boot/initrd.img-3.2.0-2-amd64
* grep . /etc/modprobe.d/*

I'd also be interested in the result of the following procedure:

 1. Back up /boot/initrd.img-3.2.0-1-amd64 for later analysis.
 2. update-initramfs -k 3.2.0-1-amd64 -u
 3. Try to boot 3.2.6-1.  Does it still load the r8169 module
    automatically?
