Bug#650771: r8169 connectivity intermittent, link up messages in syslog

Please attach full "dmesg" output from booting up and exhibiting the
problem.

Could you try the patch from [1]?  Instructions for testing a patched
kernel are at [2] and [3].

Side note: please take care to make this bug report track only this
one system.  If others experience similar symptoms, they can file
separate bugs, and we can merge them if they turn out to have the same
cause.
