If it helps, I have a Nvidia GeForce 2 MX (AGP) and it seems to work
completely. (though that card doesn't support interlacing)
I can get dmesg for that too if needed but it takes probably a bit
longer.

Yes, it does work. I've been using it because Radeon doesn't work, but
Rage's XVideo is broken when using interlaced output (already reported).
The DRI thing just requires to disable dri and I don't need 3D so I
don't know about that part.

dmesg didn't have anything except (AFAIK) that there is something on
line 140 and below, but I'm not quite sure if this is an error:
