Bug#580661: linux-image-2.6.32-5-686: 2.6.32-5-686 makes VGA compatible controller sick

Running 2.6.32-3-686 at the moment.

I rebooted into 2.6.32-5-686, created files named
dmesg-7-may-2010-174
and
Xorg-7-may-2010-1743.0.log

and then 

booted back into 2.6.32-3-686, created files named
dmesg-7-may-2010-1752
and
Xorg-7-may-2010-1752.0.log
