At one point I thought it might be related to tp-smapi, which I usually use, but as tp-smapi is not available in 2.6.31 currently, it wasn't loaded, and it failed anyway. I can't really provide any details from the failed resume (since it doesn't resume at all), but If you need dmesgs from the first and second boot (the “thawte” one), please ask.
