2.6.16.y -stable branch

Hi.
I just noticed that Adrian Bunk's stable 2.6.16.y branch has been removed from
Etch, and I think that sucks.
It's a great opportunity to have a _stable_ and long-supported kernel in Debian,
which is really nice for those of us who do not want the latest bugs - oops -
features of the fancy Linus' tree. I'm essentially thinking about production
servers.

Another question:
why doesn't Debian ship a hardened-kernel version, with Grsec and the like?

cheers
