Well, actually... Looking at FsEntry.pm and other code it might actually
be supported somehow - or support is halfway there...

That sounds weird.

Could you put that ramdisk online somewhere? I'd like to analyze it.

Also include the config files used when generating the image. And the
commandline used when booting.

Ohh, and how did you serve the ramdisk? My success was using a patched
GRUB[1]. Perhaps whatever method you use does not support cpio images?

Whatever - provide me your image and I'll see if I can spot something
odd about it...
