I believe we should start on the process of proividing sarge backports of the
kernel packages, including a new udev, modules and whatever is needed for the
kernel to work.

This could happen through volatile, but if not we could do our own stuff, a
special kernel repo with sarge backports of uptodate kernels.

Now, udev fails to build in sarge currently :)
