Strange thing, I want to describe it:
Situation:
USB-Mouse works, the loaded modules are "usb-uhci" and "usb-ehci" for
USB2.0-support.
When connecting a mass-storage system , like a usb-harddrive or a
usb-sd-card (in adapter) , these are not seen and thus, cannot be
mounted. Lsusb shows only the usb-mouse.
My tries:
Then, when unloading the usb-ehci module, and only loaded
usb-uhci module, the mass-storage device is seen, but still cannot be mounted.
In the same time, the usb-mouse will not work any more, and is not seen
when making lsusb.
My ideas:
As this worked still kernel-2.6.9, I suppose the mistake in a conflict
within the kernel itself, the hotplug package (playing together with the
kernel), scsi in the kernel or udev. Additionally it could be my fault,
too. Did I do something wrong ??? I hope not......
Best regards
Hans
