Bug#304944: kernel-image-2.6.11-powerpc: eth0 and eth1 are swapped

Package: kernel-image-2.6.11-powerpc
Version: 2.6.11-1
Severity: important

I was wondering why the network didn't work...

With older kernels (e.g. 2.6.8), dmesg gives:

With 2.6.11, dmesg gives:

The consequence is that the network doesn't work by default at boot
time with the 2.6.11 kernel.
