Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-sparc
Version: 2.6.8-6
Severity: wishlist
Hello,
This version of package, producing the kernel-image-2.6.8-2-sparc* binary
debs, fails to build when only one sparc64 kernel flavour is requested, by
running 'debian/rules flavours=sparc64 binary'. Failure is caused by the
following newly added line in the binary arch target of debian/rules:
ln -f build-sparc32/arch/sparc/kernel/asm-offsets.s $(kdir)/arch/sparc/kernel/
When only flavour=sparc64 kernel is requested, the sparc32 tree is not
unpacked, so the file referred to in this line does not exist. Please
consider restoring the functionality for building standalone kernel
flavours.
Best regards,
Jurij Smakov jurij@wooyd.org
