With a high probably the bug is still there.
I have run many many tests with older kernels
and it does not happen all the time.

I do not know when the volume is turned up,
but there are conditions when
when just loading the kernel image
	before any module loading occurs
there is a crackling sound because something like the disc noise
is picked up by the micophone.

When you get to the point that you can load a module by /etc/modules
or so and you load a sound module the crackling vanishes.

So there are two bugs here:
	- _sometimes_ crackling sound up to the loading of modules
	- no detection and loading of needed sound module

This was especially annoying when trying to install debian.
