Thanks for your reply. There were some kate* files which I deleted (I do not
really use Kate), and no yaquake files (since I do not even have that
installed). No change (or do I need to completely restart KDE to "apply"
changes?).

There is still a lot of files for various apps, including konsolerc, which
only contains few lines, nothing that looks relevant.
