KDE had this in earlier versions - these days kstart can only tell
applications to use a specific desktop on application start. But it shouldn't
be too hard to implement in kopete. Just file a wish to the kopete bug
tracking system and have some patience...
Or start hacking yourself, but don't forget the checkbox to turn that option
off, I'd really be annoyed if not ;)
