Wrong, X is one of the finest piece of software engineering. Another issue 
is that is becoming too complex at adapting it to new graphics boards and 
features, or that it's process all events from a FIFO queue and is not 
multithreaded. Or perhaps the X developers are too slow to releasing 
drivers and separating them from the core.

X is not crap, don't repeat blindly the typical /.'ers complaint. Instead, 
I would argue that KDE is buggy, especially in font (and printing) 
management, although Qt has its shares also.
