I'm using es_ES@euro (iso8859-15). I use msttcorefonts that are encoded in 
8859-15 too.

It didn't have any problem with qt 3.1 and kde 3.1.3. In fact the problems 
appeared when compiled kde against qt 3.2 in Sid (which is also true for 
the current kdelibs in Sid).

I see the problems with 4.2 and 4.3 in different machines.

It solves the accented characters problems, but not this one.
