Oh, thanks. I already figured out at least the "reserve" part by looking
into the source code of kdesktop. Pretty simple.

I communicated this to the xscreensaver developer, he didn't answer till
now, but I hope he will include a button for this feature.

Well, it's always like this. As long as the behaviour is documented.

Good idea. But where the heck do you activate this in gdm, strange. I
will look into the source.
