Re: Creating new kernel with initrd?, Custom kernel: Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 21:05



Has anybody else who has experience this problem found a solution?

Please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:03

kernellab is a debian package that can be used to create a kernel from
a linux kernel source + an alancox patch. Here I am using
the linux kernel source 2.4.12 patched with alan's ac6 patch.
