smb ioslave & accents

Hello everybody !

I have a problem with the smb ioslave : 

I can browse OK.
The accents are printed correctly.

but.....

when I try to open a file or a directory with an accent in it name, konqueror 
tells me that the file or directory doesn't exist......

The problem doesn't come from the server, because I can open these files / go 
in these directories without problem on others computers (running on Windows 
9x)

Installed packages (but this problem has always been happening......) :

ii  smbclient      2.2.1a-10
ii  samba-common   2.2.1a-10

and all the kde packages are 2.2.1-1

If someone can help me.....
