Using KDE 2.0.1, I can't get Kppp to connect to my ISP. As soon as the connection is semi-established, the modem hangs up and the Login Script Debug Window says starting pppd.... Then the modem dials up again, and an endless loop occurs, with the pppd daemon not ever starting up. I can use wvdial to log in just fine. I have added my user name to the dialout group, but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help. -- Stewart...
