Hi Markus,

You're definitely in the right place.

In addition to the other suggestions in this thread, I recommend that
you start by generating a list dependencies and build dependencies for
GF 3.1.2.  Oftentimes one of the most difficult parts of packaging $foo
is that it requires the addition of multiple $bars not yet available in
the Debian.  For any of the $bar packages needed for GF 3.x, you can
file RFP or ITP bugs and cc: the debian-java list.

A question for the list...  There are a number rdeps on the current
glassfish binary packages.  Is there any reason to keep GF 2 in the
archive?  That is, should there be a new package for glassfish3, or
should the 3.x update replace the existing glassfish [1] package?
