~    Centralization of the files really doesn't provide much gain; it's
just like when you link your own apps to the Javadoc of APIs and
frameworks that you use.  Even if it were in the same master folder,
you'd still have to find the path and place in your own packaged
Javadocs for the -link and -linoffline facility.
~    I don't see JPackage as either an endorsement or a recommendation
for taking a particular approach.  Several of the practices I have heard
of reflect a choice of expediency over sound practice, which I believe
goes against the Debian Way of doing things.
