java-compiler package and package build-dep

Hi,

I have compiled and installed Eclipse package made by Jerry Haltom and
it require gcj-4.0 for building, so it could be in free section
(experimental), but it depends on packages that require j2sdk for
building such as tomcat. Why j2sdk and not a java-compiler ?
