This is the main problem. I was trying to argue with them but they did
never respond so in order to get things going I removed that kind of stuff
from java-common.

Sure. File a bug to java-common. Patches are appriciated.

Well I do not really like the idea of including .debs in a deb
file. :)

True. Please file a bug (wishlist) to java-common if you like that
idea.
