I use Debian with satisfaction since version 3 "Sarge", both at home and in the company servers.
I do not agree at all with the choice to use SystemD as an INIT system.

if you do not make the use of systemd "really optional" (solving the problem of huge dependencies and its pervasiveness),
I will stop using Debian forever, with great regret...

Anch'io uso Debian dalla Release 3 e devo dire che Debian 9 con Systemd è una gran bella distribuzione e ne sono molto contento.
Altri come Red Hat e Suse erano passati a Systemd anche prima di Debian, e anche queste sono distribuzioni che mi sembra funzionino molto bene.
Non capisco quali sono i problemi tecnici.
