si l'avevo fatto e l'ho rifatto ma anche riportando la stessa configurazione non pingo

su knoppix laptop ho dato i seguenti comandi:

Appena installo mandrake l'audio non va...poi tolgo acpi=off da lilo.conf
cambio il modulo di gestione della scheda da i810_audio a snd-intel8x0(mi sa che e' alsa questo) e tutto parte.
Anche la visualizzazione dell'autonomia inizialmente non va poi installo dei pacchetti relativi ad acpi e tutto parte.....su mandrake funzia tutto.

Su knoppix l'acpi sembra non andare tanto che appena attivo il risparmio energetico nel centro di controllo
qusta finestra crasha....inoltre al boot ci sono delle scritte strane che sul desktop non ho..qualcosa tipo
PCI--------------> APIC IRQ transform + valori esadecimali.. spariscono subito visto che il boot e' velocissimo.

Alsa dovrebbe supportare questo chipset: ho preso l'ultima versione e l'ho compilata seguendo l'how-to di alsa per AC'97 ma il modulo non va su..

Ammesso che qui l'acpi funzioni potresti dirmi come abilitarlo?
