Anche io woody (2.4.18-bf2.4), anche io stessa descrizione.

ma se cerchi nella manpage 'ext3' ci sono riferimenti nelle opzioni -j e -J.
Quindi presumo che sia supportato.
Ma non l'ho mai testato ;)
