Si, tune2fs non fa altro che creare il file .journal in radice dove
vengono salvate le informazioni di journalling.

Se monti un fuilesustem ext3 con ext2 ti accorgi che c'è un .journal in
radice. ;)


[beh, ovviamente per far andare poi / in ext3 devi rimontarla, quindi
comunque devi fare un reboot...]
