Hi all i'm looking for a new server. requirements (not more than a few dozen of users): postfix, dovecot, amavis... a little bit apache2, smokeping, and nagios. asterisk and friends... squid... and dansguardian (for max. 10 schools with 5 user each) upstream bandwidth will most probably not be more than 1.5 Mbit. as low energy consumtion (we liked to run it on solar) and price ARE important, i was thinking about something like via c7 1.2-1.5 Ghz with 1-2 GB RAM for example: http://www.everex.com/products/gpc/gpc.htm or maybe better this: http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=de&langpair=zh%7Cen&u=http://www.lemote.com/hr/hailong.html any advice appreciated. --Jan
