I'm not interested in hearing the gossip on this list, or for any
particular project to air their dirty laundry. If I wanted to I'd go
read the forums and mailing lists where I could indulge myself. There I
would expect both parties were represented. By asking for details of
what happened, you will get one side of the story. When all the
information is there, why not go get it yourself, rather than ask
someone to rehash something that they've already gone over and provide
you with a biased executive summary[1]?

The details are in the forums, you can go get them if you want. I think
its fine for someone to let this list know that there is this new fork
available, and if you want to know more go find out.

P.S. No need to write to the list, we can all find the information
elsewhere.

1. I have no opinion about either side, I dont know any of the details.
When I say that there will be bias, I do not say that the bias will be
incorrect because I believe the other side, rather that it will be
represented from one side's point of view.
