Hello Marek, I have nearly the same problem... Am 2007-03-20 16:27:36, schrieb Marek Podmaka: > First you should identify what is your bottleneck. Is it postfix? IMAP/POP3 can use some disk + CPU for sorting emails. But Heavily if $USER have over 10.000 messages in one Folder... > usually the bottleneck is antivirus/antispam. So until you get disk Right > bottleneck I think one server for smtp + pop3/imap is enough and you And there is the problem! I have configured ONE inbound "courier-mta-ssl" and curently FIVE "courier-imap-ssl" since I have too much $USER accessing the IMAP at the same time. Arround 600-1400 $USER of over 17.000 Accounts but increasing. The mailboxes itself are on 5 seperated NFS-Servers. I have setup a round robin for <mail.mydomain.tld> for the IMAP Servers but it does not realy work, specialy if $USER use the Webinterface on <webmail.mydomain.tld> which use 2 Servers currently. Any hints how to setup correctly round robin for: 1) <webmail.mydomain.tld> The 2 Webmail (I use my own PHP5-Apache interface and not sqwebmail, since it does not work HOW I like) 2) <mail.mydomain.tld> The 5 IMAP servers 3) <smtp.mydomain.tld> The InBound "courier-mta-ssl" which do currently SPAM- Filtering too since I do not know HOW to setup this on external Servers... I like to set up this server for SMTP-Level filtering only and then use external Servers for Virus and other SPAM filtering.
