Sorry my bad, I meant to say that I attempted to add the plone
site under the ZIM not the zope site under the ZIM.

I was wondering is someone had experience running plone using
the Debian packages from Sarge. We will be hosting about 500 sites for
teachers and classes. We have no experience with the product and little
idea hot this thing scales. Currently, we are just in testing mode.
What kind of hardware should we be looking for here? Should this be run
with a separate database back end?
I did an install of plone from the packages at
http://nathan.faho.rwth-aachen.de/debian/zope. This install went well.
The install that I did yesterday, was from the stock Sarge package
repository. After the zope instance is running, I logon to ZIM to add
the zope site. The only problem is that there is no selection for plone
under the add pull down. I don't recall having this problem before.
