I don't mean the inserted values but the next id that will be inserted. This is what phpmayadmin does with checked "Add AUTO_INCREMENT value" CREATE TABLE `testtab` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) TYPE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=8 ; ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I don't know how get this with mysqldump.
