Problems aplaying mosix patch

Hi ppl im installing mosix pathc in kernel 2.4.17, as the docs of mosix
package ask the kernel-source-2.4.17 was install. Then I move to the
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.17 dir and execute
/usr/src/kernel-patches/i386/apply/mosix
and get what follows.....

/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.17# /usr/src/kernel-patches/i386/apply/mosix
Testing whether Mosix 1.5.7 patch for 2.4.17 applies (dry run):
2 out of 18 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file fs/exec.c.rej
1 out of 8 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file kernel/ptrace.c.rej
2 out of 31 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file kernel/sys.c.rej
1 out of 3 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file
include/asm-i386/processor.h.rej Mosix 1.5.7 patch for 2.4.17 does not apply cleanly

Then obviously the mosix daemon doesnt run :(
any clue of what could be wrong...
