newsletter system. As I made quite a couple of things with postfix, my
concern is the amount and considerations which have to be made when
handling such an amount.
I have read, that I can sort the recipients by Domain and if I send the
mail to users for example gmx.com the attachment will be send only once.
So, one attachment of 1 Mbyte and 1000 Recipients...
Is this right ?
If yes, I think, this will redouce the traffic enorm.
I think, the news-magazine DNA in Strasbourg do that. And they rewrite
the headers beause you can not answer on it. (It is the same Adrees as
the recipient).
And the other hing ist, that the recipients which subscribe to your
list must select a timezone for delivery... So you can deliver in
correct order. I think you do not must deliver a Mail to a client at
3:00 in the morning while another client is waiting for the mail at
8:00 in the morning because he lives in Europ and the other in the USA.
I think, You can handle this traffic very well in 12 Hours. But you
must organize it correctly.
