I expect nsd to solve the security issues for authoritative name servers and
it has a good upgrade path from BIND.
That leaves me to just find a good caching server. I'll talk to my contacts
regarding getting some partial funding for such development work by the same
people who did nsd. From what I've seen of nsd they have done an excellent
job, paying them to do the same for a caching name server is probably the
best thing that could happen.
