The pre-removal script returns an error, you should check snort.prerm in
the following directory: /var/lib/dpkg/info/ .
And if it's a bug (if you get the same error if you re-install and
subsequently de-install the latest version of snort (possibly from sid))
=> $reportbug snort .
> postinst called with unknown argument `abort-remove'
> Errors were encountered while processing:
