You shouldn't have any problem with IBM 75GXP, which has a 75GB model.
They're a fast disk and the smaller versions have proved reliable for me in
web servers.

When you set up your system, you should look at hdparm, hdparm -d 1 -c 1 -u
1 -m 16 enables DMA mode, multiple sectore I/O, 32bit control and unmasks
interrupts.  You'll find it consdirably improves performance.
